What to expect from the Learning Labs at RSA Conference 2024?

Our learning labs will be hands-on, interactive sessions where delegates can actively engage in learning and skill-building activities. Each learning labs will be designed to provide practical and experiential learning opportunities, focusing on the specific topic, skill, or technology relevant to your session.

Key characteristics of a learning lab will include:

  • Interactive Format: An interactive and participatory session, allowing delegates to apply their learnings through practical exercises, discussions or group activities.

  • Skill Development: Focusing on building or enhancing specific skills, whether technical, professional, or creative. Depending on the selected lab, it will cover a wide range of subjects, from technology and software training to leadership and communication skills.

  • Smaller Group Settings: Session numbers will be capped for each session, to facilitate more personalised instruction and hands-on practice.

  • Expert Facilitators: Experienced instructors and experts relevant to each lab will lead and facilitate the learning labs, guiding participants through the learning process and offering guidance and feedback.

  • Learning Objectives: Each learning lab will have clear learning objectives or outcomes, and participants are encouraged to work towards achieving these specific goals by the end of the session.

  • Problem Solving: Our learning labs could involve problem-solving activities, case studies, or real-world scenarios to help participants apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills.

Learning labs are an effective way to enhance the educational value of the conference by offering a more hands-on and immersive learning experience. These sessions have proven to be in high demand, where practical skills and knowledge transfer are essential components of the event's goals.

The 2024 RSA Conference program includes 11 learning lab sessions, covering a variety of topics as per your feedback.

Once the program is finalised, you will be able to register for two learning lab sessions. These sessions will be available to book from late April 2024.
